The newly simplified and presented range includes ‘classic’ mineral tiles, high performance acoustic tiles and ceilings suitable for hygienic areas or high humidity spaces. It also includes popular, standard metal ceiling systems too. NEW OWAtecta S80
Create bespoke mesh or perforated metal rafts with OWA UK’s new ceiling system; OWAtecta S80 demountable raft.
Installed in 2023 at several landmark projects, including, Assembly B and C in Bristol, designed by AHMM architects and built by Galliford Try, and the Molecular Sciences building at the University of Birmingham, designed by Associated Architects and built by Morgan Sindall.
The demountable rafts can be designed as a square, rectangular or trapezium shape, in any RAL colour. The removable hook-on metal panels allow quick access to building services above and can be easily demounted or relocated.
University of Birmingham
In our largest project of 2023, OWA UK supplied no less than eleven different ceiling and wall systems to the stunning Molecular Sciences building at the University of Birmingham. From ‘Pearl Copper’ coloured, metal tubular baffles, to large format metal ceiling rafts, mineral acoustic wall absorbers, wall to wall metal ceiling systems and class A mineral tile systems, to name but a few.
